St Francis Parkrun
Join St Francis parkrun every Saturday at 08:00 at the St Francis Links – parkrun is a free, timed 5km run or walk, open to everybody.
Parkrun and parkrun events are open and inclusive to all, regardless of age, gender, race, and disability. The St Francis Links run surface is ideal for disabled people or parents with children in prams to join the run or walk. Young children can also stay in the safety of the clubhouse for the duration of the event.
Discovery Vitality, Mr Price Sport, Blue Label Telecoms and Dischem are sponsors of this global initiative. Vitality members will earn 300 Vitality points for each completed 5km parkrun.
Parkrunners must do a once off registration on www.parkrun.co.za in order to receive their unique barcode. The barcode must be printed and presented after each run, and can be used at any parkrun around the globe. Parkrun provides registration, results, statistics, photos, and news hosting services on the website and information on the St Francis parkrun is available on www.parkrun.co.za/stfrancis.
Vitablity points will be awarded as long as members register and scan their barcode after every parkrun.
