Race weekend for the third Bestmed Chokka Trail Run is Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August 2019, starting and finishing at the Cape St Francis Resort. Online entries are open from 4 September 2018 to 9 August 2019.
On Saturday the ultra (62km), marathon (42km), half-marathon (23km) as well as the 10km will take place, while the 5km Charity Challenge and Family Fun Run as well as the Junior 1km and 3km races are set for Sunday 11 August 2018.

As in the past, the race dates are falling over the Women’s Day long weekend to ensure a long and relaxed stay at our host venue, the Cape St Francis Resort.
Online entries
Online entries are open till 9 August at 14h00 and a late registration fee will be payble on race weekend. Make sure you register with ORGSU before you choose your race.

Charity Challenge
Businesses, schools and charity organisations are invited to participate in the 5km Charity Challenge which is a team effort. Teams of 4 run (or walk) 5km, and their individual finishing times added together is the team’s time. The winning team will win a Bestmed hamper, a Team Building Event from the Cape St Francis Resort as well as R3000.00 for their nominated charity or school. If more than 10 teams enter, they all will go into a lucky draw to win a Bestmed hamper, a Team Building Event from the Cape St Francis Resort as well as R1500.00 for their nominated charity or school.
General
Walkers are welcome in the 23km, 10km and 5km distances. Dogs are only allowed on short leashes with poop bags in the 10km and 5km distances. Ultra and 42km runners will have to download the ORGSU App to ensure tracking and check in times at various waterpoints, however it is compulsory for all 62km runners to rent a SPOT Tracker at R300 for the race (included in the entry fee). No Tracker, No Run. They can also leave a draw bag at the 15km/45km waterpoint at Duneridge Country House as well as at the 30km waterpoint at the Oyster Bay Eskom gate.
Accommodation
